Wearing a sports bra during any physical fitness activity is the norm to keep breasts from getting injured. But sweating can make it quite itchy in places where you normally can’t scratch in a public place. Enter a sports bra with in-built vents to cool off the wearer when it gets too hot!

Unveiled at the New York Fashion Week, this bra has an embedded compute platform called Curie by Intel that can detect your body’s temperature and perspiration levels and opens up the in-built vents when the wearer’s body gets hot. So you don’t have to reach out for your towel, your bra will do the needful. It is like having your very own fan or AC.

Though this sports bra sounds amazing, it isn’t available in the market yet. It still needs to pass FCC regulations. It would be interesting to see how it will work in the real world. This sports bra is by Chromat, a sports apparel manufacturer and is made of mesh, lycra, neoprene fabric. The vents are made of 3D printed frames made out of a ‘smart’ material for them to go back to their original shape after the cooling process. Also check out these other bizarre bras that do more than they are supposed to.
