If you are one of those few who have a unibrow, you know it makes you unique but at the same time, you have different eyebrow issues than the rest of us. Here are a few dos and don’ts you can follow to manage it.

Dos

  • Tweeze it every 10-15 days, depending on your hair growth to keep it looking neat and in shape. You can pluck out all the hair if you want to have two separate brows. Read about how to use a tweezer the right way.
  • If you do not want to tweeze it yourself, you can get it waxed or threaded at a salon. But remember, if you opt for waxing, you will no longer have a unibrow. Watch how to thread your own eyebrows.
  • Another option to get rid of a unibrow is to go for laser hair reduction which will burn the hair follicle and result in no or very fine hair growth.

Don’ts

  • Never bleach the hair in the centre of your unibrow as it will still be visible if it is too thick, only now it will be golden.
  • Don’t wax the hair in the direction of the hair growth when you are doing it yourself. And use disposable waxing strips. If you can’t find strips made for unibrow, cut the big ones into small bits and use them.
  • Don’t forget to trim the hair from the top. This will keep it in line with the rest of the brow and make it look well-groomed.
  • Having a unibrow is nothing you should be ashamed of as you have the option of keeping it and getting rid of it as and when you want with the help of temporary hair removal methods. Also read – how to get thick eyelashes naturally.
